June 21, 2023 — JAL Therapeutics presented at the California Life Sciences (CLS) Innovation Showcase held at Bakar Labs on the campus of UC Berkeley. The event was an opportunity to connect with industry leaders, investors and entrepreneurs to culminate the company’s participation in the FAST California advisory program.
JAL Therapeutics presented in the Therapeutic Company track alongside fellow FAST cohort members representing a variety of life science technology innovations happening across the state of California.
JAL Therapeutics’ presentation gave the latest updates on our highly selective approach to butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) inhibition, which is designed to treat the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and other chronic neurodegenerative conditions. The presentation was well received, with many interesting questions resulting from a variety of potential investors, prospective partners and others in attendance.
Participating in this program has been an excellent experience and has given the company many additional tools and resources as we continue along our drug development path.
